Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan is an Australian actor and model. She was born on 10 May 1981. Her first role was as Pepper Steiger in Australia. The role she played in the 100 episodes of soap drama Neighbors which aired from 2006 to 2007 helped make her famous in Australia. The actress arrived in Hollywood by way of two different projects. The first was the comedy choral Hollywood & Wine in which she played an actress who was making her debut in Hollywood. She was then offered a part in the 9th season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya an extremely sexy medical student. The show abruptly ended. Next, she continues making films for the Farrelly brother-based comedy Good to film, which will feature Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. This will be followed by appearances on B-series and series. In 2013, she landed her first role that was more publicized including six episodes of the series detective Franklin and Bash and her first ever permanent part in Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons, she also gives the answer for Chad Michael Murray. Then she played a supporting role in two feature films which focused on planes. The first one was a TV film made for SyFy's flight 7500. It featured actors from television shows. The other one can be seen in Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She is a pilot. It's Gabriel Luna who shares her poster, for the new series Matador. The 13-episode season is all there is of the Robert Rodriguez-produced drama where the actors play CIA agents. She continues with the pilot of another series which however is not a success. She released the trailer for the B-Series romance Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared in the role of Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars for the comedy Witness for Rent. In addition, she is part of the massive release of Terrence Malcolmick's experiment Knight of Cups. She is also featured on five occasions in Satisfaction.
